Chef Jason was absolutely amazing! 🍣 He was such a talented sushi chef and made the whole experience so much more special. From his attention to detail and beautiful presentation to the way he explained each dish and interacted with us, you could really tell how passionate he is about his craft. Every course felt thoughtful and unique, and we loved getting to watch him create everything right in front of us. The food was incredible, but the hospitality, conversation, and personal touch made our experience truly unforgettable. ❤️

What a surprising, delightful, delicious experience! We were looking for a new sushi restaurant, and chose Kawa Omakase randomly, based on the 5 star reviews. These reviews are right on target! This is authentically Japanese, with an incredible sake menu, fresh fabulous fish, creative dishes and incredible sushi chefs, especially Paul! From the moment we entered, Chris made us feel welcome, escorted us to the lovely hidden dining room, and helped us select the perfect sake. Our very kind server suggested the most popular dishes and we tried them all. Paul and his team created wonderful King Salmon and Toro Hand Rolls, Miso Cod, Amberjack carpaccio, Unagi Don (my husband loved this), tuna sashimi board, peppers.... All excellent! Paul helped us choose the delectable Miso gelato for dessert, and then topped it all off with specially aged toro in a secret sauce.... Wow!!! We truly loved the whole experience. They have an incredible team and food!

Kawa is the kind of place you go to celebrate life’s special moments. My husband and I came here to celebrate a milestone, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. We chose the full omakase course ($185 per person), which included several appetizers, the chef’s seasonal sushi selection, and a house-made gelato to finish. As someone who grew up in Asia, I have high expectations for omakase, and Kawa exceeded them. The quality of the seafood was exceptional from start to finish, and every course showcased premium ingredients. More importantly, the team genuinely cared about the overall experience, thoughtfully accommodating our preferences and paying close attention to even the smallest details, from garnishes to the pacing of each course. What made this meal memorable wasn’t just the food, it was the hospitality. You can tell the chef truly cares about every guest and wants each person to have the best possible experience. That level of care is something you don’t find everywhere. At first, $185 may seem like a premium price, but after the meal, it felt completely justified. We did the full omakase experience and it was quite an experience. Got a very wide range of fish and it was incredibly filling. The chef had to start using less rice for me at the end. The gin and elderflower drink was delicious. It was fun to get to interact with the chefs and hear about the fish and everything else. Super expensive but worth it for good quality food.

Had a great experience at KAWA! The atmosphere was beautiful, and our server was very friendly and attentive. Special thanks to Sushi Chef John for the amazing XL sushi and the extra 24K gold flakes.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐My favorite was the sweet shrimp—it was incredibly fresh and such a pleasant surprise. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Will definitely be back!
